Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups celery finely chopped (Adds crunch and freshness!)
  • 2 apples diced (Choose crisp varieties like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith for contrast!)
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts Optional, but adds a nice texture!
  • ½ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt Yogurt provides a lighter, tangy version!
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Prevents apples from browning and adds brightness!
  • 1 teaspoon honey or sugar Balances tartness!
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper Enhances the flavors!

Instructions
 

  • Chop the celery and apples into small, bite-sized pieces and place in a mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise (or yogurt), lemon juice, honey, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the apple-celery mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  • Stir in chopped walnuts, if using.

Notes

For a sweeter variation, add raisins or sliced grapes.
Swap mayonnaise for sour cream for a tangier taste.
Serve on lettuce leaves for an elegant, retro presentation.
